I taught various group exercise classes including yoga, spin, muscle training, pilates and kick boxing. I was responsible for providing a safe and effective workout for each participant no matter their fitness level. Each participant was greeted and the class format was explained. During the workouts different options were given for the participant to choose which was best for them. I provided the music, direction and leadership to create a fun and motivating atmosphere. The academic course that I taught also required that I was responsible for each students' attendance, progression, and final grade.
