Sold and managed backup generator services to customers by building and maintaining long-lasting relationships, as well as serving as the main point of contact


  • Responsible for managing and selling services to customers with back-up generators within the NE and IA territories and often being the face of the company to these clients

  • Regularly exceed targeted sales goals by 95-100%

  • Attend trade shows and sales conferences to network with industry contracts
  • Actively cold and warm call potential customers
  • Demonstrate products at customer locations by answering questions regarding services offered
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and regular communication, as well as serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Oversee new and existing customer account management, including negotiating contracts, quotes, and agreements to maximize profit
  • Answer client inquiries in a timely manner and identify new business opportunities among existing customers
  • Act as a liaison with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service, Project Management, Accounting, and Service departments) to improve the entire customer experience
  • Collaborates with the sales team to achieve quotas while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within our territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
