DUTIES: Senior African American Culturally Sensitive social worker, assessing the needs of families to ensure children's safety, mentor to 3 new employees (1 year commitment to each new worker), ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, court proceedings, knowledge of child welfare policy, laws, statutes. All yearly performance evaluations have been rated above averageexceeds expectations or higher. Developed a tool for new and current workers to use as a guide to work their cases effectively. Have lead unit meetings and tasks in supervisors absence. Oral presentations given to community groups/ vendors/ and parenting groups on the CP process, assigned to several committees to assess the process of CP. I attended Anti- racism collaborative meetings quarterly (which is the leaders of community agencies coming together to evaluate how to support one another with the Anti-racism goals of each agency) with the previous Directer, Monty Martin. |
