Work closely with Engineering departments to:
- Establish the proper amount of part and drawing numbers to be pulled and set up to create and build products.
- Review and set up the routings the product needs to go thru for processing.
- Create and route a Bill of Operations thru the process engineering group so manufacturing knows how to build the product and what machines/tooling/equipment is to be used along with the necessary checks and audits.
- Keep track of all part and drawing numbers created, descriptions of products and inventory levels on excel spreadsheets.
Keep Sales and Planning departments along with Management up to date on the status of new products. Where they are at in the engineering and manufacturing processes.
Establish timelines on when product could be expected thru certain operations.
