I worked for Minneapolis Public Schools. I was the person responsible for implementing and supporting Title I and III programming at 11 non-public school sites.


  • Collaborate regularly with staff and service providers at 7 non-public schools to identify and address individual student needs and barriers as well as to design and implement Title I programming at the sites
  • Observe instruction, review student data and work, and provide effective feedback and coaching on instructional practices to 13 MPS employed teachers working at non-public schools
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with diverse groups and stakeholders including non-public school administrators, teachers, and service providers at non-public schools
  • Interview and hire staff members based on evidence of a commitment to high levels of academic success for all students, and their ability to improve student outcomes for Title I and III eligible students at non-public schools
  • Manage and oversee a 1.8-million-dollar budget for Title I, II, and III at all non-public schools located in Minneapolis
  • Lead team in preparing for Title I monitoring review by Minnesota Department of Education and achieved a final report with no programmatic findings
  • Support MPS schools with Title I compliance and alignment to School Improvement Plans to increase student achievement
  • Design and deliver professional development to family liaisons to increase family engagement at Title I schools
