Experience
Recruited, developed, coached and managed the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Team of 4 direct reports who are responsible for the life cycle of an employee including orientation, benefits, employee relations, labor relations, talent development, leaves of absences and separation of employment. Each HR Business Partner supported approximately 900 employees throughout our branch locations and corporate headquarters.
Implemented monthly branch compliance meetings between the corporate HRBP, Branch General Manager and Branch HR Manager which brought compliance from 47% in 2015 to 90% in 2017 with the pre-employment process, I-9&rsquos, auto insurance, DOT medical certifications, resignation letters and exit interviews.
Assisted in union negotiations and resolved union grievances. Also, coached the HRBP&rsquos to interpret and utilize the union contracts in the applicable states to investigate and resolve performance and safety issues using progressive discipline.
Trained the HRBP team on coaching managers to address performance concerns which increased the utilization of Performance Improvement Plans and Disciplinary Actions by 64% from 2016 to 2017. Responsible for conducting investigations and documenting higher level complaints.
Developed a Talent Development Strategy and Plan currently in process which includes job descriptions, Workday employee data integrity, culture survey, and talent matrix meetings with all managers to determine and make plans for top talent and underperforming talent.
Assisted in the implementation of Workday &ndash HCM, Talent, Performance, Benefits, LMS and Recruiting. Responsible for the Talent and Performance areas which included templates and business processes for performance reviews, disciplinary actions, PIP&rsquos and IDP&rsquos.
