Summary
I perform the quality specification tests at the beginning of each shift. I help the mechanic when necessary. I keep the press running while he is at break. I help keep the work area safe and clean of oil.
Experience
I place large coils of steel up on the up-ender using a large Hoist forklift. I use several instruments to make sure our product is withiin the correct specifications necessary for that particular can. I clean out press jams, and restart the press. I do general housekeeping duties to ensure that we have a safe work enviroment. I serve on our plant safety committee.
