- Supervision, training and development of customer-focused payroll team on systems, policies, best practices and internal controls to ensure compliance on all levels
- Responsible for fiscal & calendar year-end payroll reconciliation, closing entries & final reporting functions
- Oversight of Executive Incentive, Non-Qualified and Equity Compensation Plans
- Management of vendor relationships, service levels and compliance for company Defined Benefit, Profit Sharing and 401(k) plans
- Management of Human Resources, Retiree Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Departments
- Partner with financial stakeholders including Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Payable to assure payroll transactions, expenses, liabilities and 3rd party payments are posted and reconciled accurately in the General Ledger
- Administration of employee benefit programs including medical/dental/life insurance, FSA and HSA, disability and workers compensation plans
- Maintain corporate compliance to collective bargaining agreements, internal policies and requirements of DOL, FMLA, EEOC, and OSHA
- Establish and implement payroll procedures & policies to assure SOX compliance for Internal Audit and external audit partners
