I am responsible for handling the bookkeeping at a small business, where I must make sure that all of my daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. With a small number of employees I frequently fill in wherever necessary, requiring me to work efficiently and be diverse in my on the job skills. I work closely with corporate in managing employee benefits, payroll, and create inventory or accounting reports using our accounting software, Microsoft Excel or Office.
Because of all that is expected of me, I have learned excellent time management skills I know what it takes to make sure things get done and what I need to do to keep myself focused and on task. Having done all of this for several years, I am confident that I will be able to maintain the same level of skill and professionalism while learning new skills that will continue to benefit me throughout my career.
