Oruc Logistics LLC - Brooklyn Park, MN January 2019 to January 2021
At Oruc Logistics, I was the office/accounts manager and my duties included: payroll, HR, audits, invoicing, dispatch, data entry, customer service, sales, inventory and purchasing supplies, warehousing, and a variety of other roles. I learned a lot about logistics and the trucking industry during my time at Oruc. When I was hired in 2019, my job was to be the owner's assistant. Within 6 months I was given a pay bump and promoted to accounts manager. After another 6 months, I took on more work and my title changed from accounts manager to office/accounts manager, I was also given another pay increase.
Logistics Coordinator
Target Headquarter - Brooklyn Park, MN October 2018 to January 2019
As a logistics coordinator in the Target HQ call center, I was on the telephone most of the work day. My basic duties were to answer inbound calls from truck drivers, trucking companies, and target employees and to assist them with any questions or concerns. We used a variety of logistics software in order to track truckloads or light truckloads. Our main goal was to make sure that the product was delivered to the correct Target location in time for the busy holiday season. This position required me to have excellent customer service skills as well as great multitasking skills. I was required to use multiple computer screens and to switch from page to page quite often. Data entry was also a major part of the job as we were required to enter tracking info on any loads and keep a log of each incoming or outbound call.
