Occupational Health Manager of a food processing plant with approximately 1,300 employees. Managed 4 LPN staff and one Translator/Office Assistant within Occupational Health Department.
Assess, triage and render first aid and emergency treatment to injured/ill employees. Collaboration with Human Resources, Plant Managers, Safety Manager, and Employee Relations Personnel regarding employee safety and injured employees. Case Management for injured employees, ensure medical follow up and rehabilitation. Ensure that transitional work agreements/restrictions are being followed. Coordinate and manage daily patient schedules while accommodating walk-in patients. Monitor inventory of medical supplies, replenish as needed. Maintain an accurate and organized medical record filing system that is OSHA compliant. Conduct health screens for post-offer employees, promote health and wellness to all employees. Drug and alcohol testing for DOT, post-accident, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion.
