ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform repairs and other general maintenance of apartment and townhome building interiors and exteriors, appliances, basic plumbing and electrical, etc.

• Satisfactorily complete resident maintenance requests and other work orders in a timely manner.

• Prepare vacant apartments to rent-ready condition includes painting, cleaning, repairs, etc.

• Maintain property grounds and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

• Deliver communication to residents as required by law (i.e leave written communication in units for all work orders per AHA guidelines, and contact residents with reasonable notice before entering the unit for any repairs).

• Conduct all repairs and installations correctly and in an efficient manner to avoid return trips.

• Participate in property group&rsquos On-Call rotation is a consecutive 7-day period, requiring the ability to respond to phone calls within 10 minutes and in-person/emergency maintenance situations within 30 minutes.

• Assist the Maintenance Coordinator and Property Manager with special projects Assist with training of other maintenance staff.

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools and equipment on a regular basis to ensure organization and quality working conditions for all team members.

• Work efficiently, both as part of a team and independently without direct supervision.

• Maintain positive and effective communication practices and professional appearance at all times Conduct in compliance with company standards.

• Follow company safety practices and procedures.

• Maintain knowledge of At Home Apartments&rsquo policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Must have reliable transportation and use personal vehicle during course of work day Maintain valid driver&rsquos license and proof of current auto insurance.
