Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Patient Access or designee, the scheduler is responsible for all scheduling of surgeries/procedures performed at AVH and/or AVHOPSC. The scheduler has accountability for maintaining and updating a schedule that accurately denotes procedures performed and physicians involved. The scheduler is also responsible for developing and maintaining open and positive communications with the medical staff offices.
