Many states require people that are receiving unemployment benefits to provide proof of your active job search. This proof could be in the form of the number of job applications you completed or the time you have searched. Does your state have a system?

What are your state requirements regarding your job search and unemployment?

Some states require you to be in the local Department of Economic Security at least once each week while others require you to search and apply online with the same department.

The fact is not all jobs are posted to your local city or state job board. We have found that most of those boards hold out of date jobs which in turn wastes the time of the job seekers.
