Recruiter with HR Generalist Capabilities

Looking to add a driven Recruiter with Human Resources Generalist experience to join our team. Someone who can establish relationships based on trust, accountability, and outstanding service. Need to have general knowledge of various employment laws.

Manages the Hiring Process:

Develop, establish, and maintain selection procedures and policies to meet staffing needs

  • Establish and implement procedures and actions for recruitment and selection
  • Recruit for both exempt and non-exempt positions define position requirements, advertise, test, and coordinate the selection process with hiring managers
  • Assist managers with preparing position requisitions.
  • Educate, coach and provide guidance to hiring managers on effective and legal hiring and interviewing techniques.
  • Evaluate recruiting processes and adjust processes as necessary to meet hiring goals and manager&rsquos needs
  • Communicate processes to staff and management to ensure compliance with legal recruiting requirements. Address non-compliance or questions/complaints in a prompt and clear manner.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on relocation procedures

Coordinate and monitor immigration related needs of associates such as HI-B visas, Green Cards, and TN&rsquos.

Manages New Hire Orientation:

  • Coordinate interview sessions and other meetings with potential candidates and internal interview team members.
  • Schedule orientation and onboarding sessions and events.
  • Works with HR Team to deliver overviews of new hire paperwork, handbook, culture and assimilating to company.
  • Work with each new hire to complete initial paperwork, benefit elections, and work authorization.

Secondary Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Use HRIS system to enter and extract data and reports.
  • Work with vendor to create Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Provide answers to basic associate questions regarding benefits, compensation and performance management programs.
  • Participate on HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Reporting and Record-Keeping

  • Update and maintain monthly HR Metrics reporting.
  • Organize, update and maintain associate records, files, and ensure privacy of associate data.

Participate in Event Coordination

  • Coordinate HR-sponsored events throughout the year.
  • Maintain and coordinate milestone service award and associate recognition for quarterly meetings.
  • Assist with coordination of other internal meetings or planning sessions as requested.

Other Duties in Support of HR Services

  • Assist the HR Team in improving HR processes and procedures.
  • Respond to associate inquiries and provide assistance to associates upon request as they relate to benefits, compensation and performance management.

other DUTIES AS REQUESTED BY MANAGER

Knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor&rsquos degree (Industrial Relations or Business preferred)
  • Experience: 3 years&rsquo experience as an H.R. Generalist 2 or more year&rsquos human resources generalist experience.
  • Understanding of employment and benefit laws and regulations.

Experience:

  • Experience working in an office/corporate environment providing support to all levels of an organization.
  • Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem solving skills for performing advanced troubleshooting or analysis and using judgment to select from multiple known alternatives.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office suite (Share Point a plus).
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.

Skills:

  • Skilled in effective one-on-one and group communication.
  • Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to solicit feedback and use appropriately.
  • Above average attention to detail and consistent accuracy
  • Able to work independently using sound judgment to make decisions and determine priorities.

Abilities:

  • Able to provide responsive service to EMA associates needing assistance with HR issues.
  • Able to establish priorities when dealing with multiple tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with others at all levels of the organization.

  • Extensive computer/laptop use.
  • Long periods of sitting at desk or workstation.

Work Environment

  • Workstation/office location.
  • Travel 10% of the time.
