I have worked for XPO Logistics for 35 years and will be retiring July 2nd 2018.
My 1st position with XPO Logistics (formally Con-way Freight) was a line driver for 3 years.
My 2nd position with XPO Logistics was a pick-up and delivery driver delivering and picking up general freight commodities to our customers.
My 3rd position with XPO Logistics was Outbound Supervisor responsible for making sure o/b trailers were loaded properly and scheduling line drivers.
My 4th position with XPO Logistics was City dispatcher responsible for routing drivers and making sure p/u's and deliveries were being completed. Also part of my job was to schedule maintenance on our equipment.
My 5th position was Personnel and training which included hiring and training drivers and driver training.
My 6th position was sales and I was responsible for maintaining and bringing on new business.
