Conlin's Furniture in Alexandria is hiring for Summer Warehouse and Delivery Associates for our Summer Sales Event with opportunity for a permanent position.

Warehouse Responsibilities

Material Handling: Loads and unloads product to and from designated storage area as well as off-loading semis. Verifies labels are affixed and correct.

Product preparation: Obtains proper paperwork for customer pick-ups and deliveries, pull and prepares correct product and inspects for damage. Opens and assembles product as directed. Loading customer pick-ups safely into customer's vehicle for delivery truck

Safety: Observes safety and security procedures.

Floor work and property maintenance: Placing and rearranging product on the showroom floor as needed. Performs building maintenance as directed.

Delivery Responsibilities

Customer Delivery: Delivers product to customers using proper equipment and procedures to prevent damage to the product, customer&rsquos property or self

Drivers: Driving light truck (CDL not required)

Service: Examines product at customer location for service orders as needed.

Additional expectations

Communication Skills: Develops working relationships with co-workers

Productivity: Self-motivated to seek out additional tasks as work is completed.

Attendance: Consistently works as scheduled and arrives on time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
