This position provides an essential component for successful project delivery. Working directly with practice and project managers, the associate in this role will be an integral member of project teams from inception (development of a winning proposal) to close-out (project is completed with utmost client satisfaction). This position will contribute by providing ideas and writing sections of proposals and will also conduct research and assist with generating the project budget and schedule. The Consulting Services Analyst will actively participate in the full project life-cycle to develop deliverables defined in the scope of work in a highly-visible, client-facing role. All deliverables are of the highest quality and meet or exceed client expectations.
Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and develop solutions around those specific needs.
Promote streamlined process between project management, business development and accounting.
Actively participate on multiple projects to research, analyze, document, and validate project requirement processes, both current and proposed. Projects include: proposal development based on identified client opportunities and expectations, as well as developing and producing deliverables for contracted/existing client projects.
Demonstrate the ability to work in different capacities on multiple projects simultaneously under the general direction of a practice or project manager.
Continuously strive to improve understanding of proposals and project requirements, processes and deliverables required to contribute to successful project delivery.
Learn, understand and be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of EMA&rsquos business processes and project life-cycle. Collaborate effectively with project teams, leverage subject matter experts for pre and post-sales strategy.
Continually seeking out opportunities to alleviate project manager and consultant workloads.
Support business development efforts by:
Understanding EMA&rsquos Business Development process
Identifying material needed to support BD strategy
Researching, writing, and editing a variety of business development material concerned with management and technical solutions.
Relating client requirements to benefit outcomes.
Organizing material and writing proposal inputs to meet RFP requirements and specifications regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Researching client/potential client organizations for information required by business developers.
Conceptualizing and producing high-quality presentations that define industry differences that EMA provides.
Researching and gathering technical information for use in proposal development activities.

Typically holds a BA or BS degree Master&rsquos Degree is a plus
3-5 years&rsquo experience (industry related preferred) supporting project delivery with a strong aptitude to grasp technical concepts.
3-5 years&rsquo experience defining business requirements, producing project documentation including progress reports, workflow diagrams, and overall business documentation.
Must have proficient writing skills, and be able to create substantial relevant project or proposal documentation based on ideas and concepts.
Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools including Power Point and Visio.
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to contribute to overall client satisfaction.
Familiarity with project management concepts and task management a plus.
Multi-task various client and internal projects

Long periods of standing during presentations and workshops
Working from major EMA office location
EMA office, client location, or remote site as project requires
Must have valid driver&rsquos license and be able to travel 25%-50% based on project demands
